As compared to other domestic animals, rabbits are easier to raise. These are easy to feed, easy to breed, easy to take care and clean. Conversely, they are also prone to sicknesses and injuries. Since their systems are sensitive, you need to learn a few ways to raise these animals.

First of all, you need to equip yourself with some basic knowledge about rabbits. Whether you are planning to run a business out of rabbits or just pet them, you need to ensure that you know how to take care of them. Learning about the behavioral pattern of rabbits may seem strange, however it is essential in learning about your livestock. The body language and the behavior of rabbits will tell you a lot of things about them. You can know if they are happy, sick or satisfied from their behavior. Rabbits are territorial in nature and hence you must not put the males in the same hutch as the other males.

You must make a larger hutch for these rabbits since these creatures like leaping and hopping around. It is a part of their daily routine. The hutch for these rabbits must be deep enough, so that the hare does not go out. In case if you place the rabbit inside the house, then you must make a small opening for the rabbit to enter and exit. The hutch must be warmer during nights or in winter; therefore you need to maintain the temperature accordingly.

Feed your rabbits with fresh vegetables and fruits, instead of pellets or feeds. While these feeds will give them the necessary nutrients, fresh vegetables will give them a little extra. Lastly, you must interact with your rabbits regularly since this will make them a little less aggressive. When you hold these rabbits, it relieves their tension and they are less likely to bite you after that.
